Neuroscience of Sex, Drugs and Rock’n’Roll

  • Christopher Ingold Auditorium WC1H 0 UK (map)

Join us for the first event of the year

"Pleasures of the brain: new insights from sex, drugs, music and whole-brain computational models" is the full topic of our very first event of this year! How do these different types of pleasuring activities interact and affect the human brain? What is there that we still don’t know about the hedonistic mind? And are sex, drugs and music really different from the neuroscience perspective?

Morten L. Kringelbach holds a joint professorship at Aarhus University in Denmark and Oxford University, where he is the leader of Hedonia Research Group (http://hedonia.kringelbach.org). He serves on the advisory board of Scientific American and is well known for identifying the underlying mechanisms of the brain’s reward system as well as the evolutionary principles of teleological communication.

The event is FREE but PRIORITY ACCESS will be given to our members.
